[I wrote this when a man that was a Quaker sort of guy came to our school and spoke to us about his way of life. (1986)]

How morbid life they that make,

these are not the ones that take,

Theirs dreams and hope of Godly sake,

to make them all come true.

Those who take their hopes and dreams apart,

to depths of hell do they depart,

From forms on high do we behold,

but not the ones that they enfold,

In out arms and hearts we carry,

but us to them would only bury,

to flee the heavens never to face,

the trial on earth that they do suffer.

Technology

I have to tell you that I am totally happy to live in this time frame in mans’ development. It amazes me that our technology is moving at such a rapid state that just in my 42 years I have witnessed the change in the way we store information and the amount of information that we can store in one place. I remember that my first computer had only 26 megabytes of ram and you could only expand to 36 MB and that was so expensive that only programmers and rich could afford it. Now I have a 4 Gigabyte mini chip in my phone.........WOW
It also just makes me have goose bumps when I see where the entertainment industry is heading.  I am continually in a state of excitement when I read about big screen TV where the screen is  a 16th of an inch AND bendable or roll-able. You know I can remember my Great Grandmother talk about not having a vehicle to drive and having to do everything by horse back until the Model T Came out.She would tell us about  when TV came out they were the first family on their area to have one, also they were one of the fist families to have a car, they were considered rich. I sat in wonder at her stories of her first experience with seeing an aero plane. She came one from Germany and I have to say back then I could not really grasp her wonderment, but as I sit here with my IPod watching my favorite videos in Mini, I can appreciate her awe at the things she saw. The thing about now is that I see in 1 years time what it probably took half her lifetime to see.

Similarities

You know..I get up every morning and do the same things ...EVERY MORNING, I guess maybe what I have learned over the years is that I am no different form the environment around me. Look at ants for instance, we has a human race look like ants and behave like ants. We have road, we communicate with each other..and the most important thing is that when we all work together we literally can move mountains and achieve great things. We work better together, and just like ants we have territories that we protect and look at the mother ant...kinda like our president, ....except for the ..popping out of millions of hundreds of babies...lol THANK GOD
Just something to think about.....
